Satra Engineering was also involved in the project of building one of the major investments of CIC Holdings. Namely the CIC Panagoda Factory and Stores Area. Here Satra conducted 5 main constructions. They are the Raw Material Stores, Finished Goods Store, Re-Packing Building, Passage area, and the Retaining wall for earth filling.

Construction of warehouse complex was unique as the building was to be built on a rocky terrain. Major Part of the building foundations were to be laid on a rocky terrain. The Raw Material stores building was constructed on a slope with a retaining wall that was needed to hold and support the soil beneath the structure.
Raw Material Store is 27 meters in span with no center columns. The eve height is 6 meters and the bays are of 7.5 meter intervals, which make the whole building of 55 meters in length.
The finished goods store is 18 meters in span with no center columns. It too is 6 meters eve height. Bay width is 7.5 meters. The length of the building is 75 meters.
The Re-Packing store is with 16 meter span with no center columns. The height is 4 meters and has a length of 120 meters with bay intervals of 7.5 meters.
Both Finished Goods Store and Re-Packing stores are connected with a Passage area by extending the roofs of the both buildings with a span of 18 meters. Here the two buildings are at two elevations with height difference of 6 feet.
Other Important
The storm water of both eves of the covered areas has a unique draining facility connected with minimum down pipes to prevent water collection inside both buildings.
